Tuesday September 29, 2009Next on the docket was Kentville. The town was named in 1826 as an honour to Queen Elizabeth's grandfather, Prince Albert, the Duke of Kent, who had visited the area in 1794. Kentville is the largest town in the Annapolis Valley.
